In Naperville. What's good to eat around here?

First of all...get you a shot of Malort and then go searching for food.

Meson Sabika has great tapas if you're looking for a somewhat nicer place. Portillo's for hot dogs/Italian beef if you're looking for something quicker. I live about 20 minutes east, and don't get out to Naperville often enough to offer more specifics - but there are a number of good restaurants in the downtown area. I think there's a Lou Malnati's there - my favorite pizza of the local chains.

Want to do chain food, but feel adventurous? Naf-Naf.
Not adventurous? Lou Malnati’s or Portillo’s.
Restaurant-wise, Jimmy’s Grill is okay. Naperville is more of a bar town than a restaurant town :/

Definitely. 100%. Malort first, food distant second.
Where have all the lightweights gone?

If you’re not feeling pizza, go to Nando’s. Their chicken is fantastic. Yes, it’s a chain, but they’re not very widespread in the US.

Naf Naf is the bomb.com
I wouldn’t really consider it adventurous though. Basically just a Mediteranean Chipotle. haha

Kind of expensive for what it is but I agree the food is good.

How about Giordano’s ? I know its a chain but I ate there last year and thought it was pretty good.

Giordanos is very hit or miss. The head corporation went bankrupt and no longer exists, so there’s nobody doing quality control on the franchises. Some of them are still good, and some of them suck.

That figures, good to know. Is Honey Jams still great for breakfast-lunch? We hit a number of places when we visit friends in Naperville and Lombard.

I only ate at Honey Jams once, it was fine, but not impressive. The chicken and waffles was incredibly disappointing, it was one waffle with two sad chicken fingers on it. Next time you’re in the area try Blueberry Hill. Better food for the same or less money. We eat there probably three times a month, maybe more.

Idk if there is a Geno’s East around there for pizza but if so definitely hit that up, otherwise find a Portillo’s

Egg Harbor is also a quality choice. It’s a regional chain, but their food is usually good.

I do not drink and drive. And I do not drink hard liquor.
No thanks.

Then you are in for a treat...it is not hard liquor. It is 35% and classified as a liqueur!
